MILITARY 3D GAME ASSETS WE BUILD

Historic, modern, near-future or fictional, we build the military hardware your game needs:

  • Firearms: rifles, pistols, SMGs, shotguns, LMGs and launchers
  • Attachments and modular kits: optics, suppressors, grips, rails and magazines that swap cleanly on a shared base weapon
  • First-person hero weapons with correct moving parts, separated for reload and inspect animations
  • Third-person and world weapons, optimized with LODs for pickups, NPCs and loadout screens
  • Military vehicles: tanks, APCs, trucks, helicopters and aircraft
  • Military props and gear: ammo crates, radios, field equipment, sandbags and barriers
  • Melee and sci-fi weapons built on the same hard-surface discipline

WHY WEAPON ART NEEDS HARD-SURFACE SPECIALISTS

Players notice when a weapon is wrong. A charging handle on the wrong side, a magazine that cannot seat, or soft, melted bevels break immersion for the people who care most about your game. Generalist vendors and AI tools often miss these details because they model the shape, not the mechanism.

Our artists study how the weapon works before modeling it. We gather references for each part, check proportions against real dimensions, and keep moving parts separate so your animators are not fighting the mesh. The result reads as authentic in a first-person close-up and still holds its silhouette at a distance.

SELECTED WEAPON WORK

Our Thorpe EM-1 project recreates the historic experimental rifle with authentic textures and materials. Browse the full breakdown and our latest weapon and vehicle work in the portfolio and on ArtStation.

HOW A WEAPON ART PROJECT RUNS

You share references, budgets, the engine and the asset list, and we confirm the specification, review owners and ownership terms. We then build one weapon or vehicle first, so you can judge quality before committing to volume.

You approve silhouette and proportions at blockout, then detail and topology at high- and low-poly, then materials and wear in your engine. Once the first asset is locked, the rest of the roster follows the same review gates.

AAA EXPERIENCE BEHIND EVERY ASSET

Rope Studios is led by founder Vikas Kumar, a hard-surface artist with 8+ years of AAA experience at Dekogon, Virtuos and Slipgate Ironworks. His credits include The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Forza Motorsport. Your leads talk directly with the artist responsible for quality, not a sales layer.

Buyer FAQ

BEFORE YOU SEND A BRIEF

How much does it cost to outsource a 3D weapon model?

Cost depends on detail level, triangle budget, texture count and whether you need first-person or world-only quality. Use the Rope Studios quote estimator for an initial budget range, then we confirm a fixed scope after reviewing your brief.

Do you model real-world firearms?

Yes. We model historic, modern and fictional weapons from your references. Licensing or trademark clearance for real manufacturer names and markings stays with the publisher, and branding can be removed or replaced on request.

Can you match our existing weapon art style?

Yes. Send examples of your current assets and your style guide. The first test asset is where the style is locked before production scales.

Do you build weapons ready for animation?

Yes. Bolts, triggers, magazines, slides and other moving parts are modeled as separate meshes with clean pivots, ready for your rigging team.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Confidentiality and ownership terms are confirmed before any proprietary references or project details are shared.

DISCUSS THE NEXT PRODUCTION NEED

Share the asset scope, target quality, engine, and schedule. Get an initial budget range from the quote estimator, or book a call and we will review the fit before proposing next steps.
